Your Conference Hosts: Oregon State University’s Open Source Lab

The Open Source Lab (OSL) is located at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. It's purpose is to help accelerate the adoption of open source software across the globe and aid the community that develops and uses it. The OSL's talented team of students and full-time staff do this by focusing on software development as well as hosting the world's largest non-for-profit open source projects. Production of GOSCON '05 is an extension of the OSL mission to educate, support and create community around Open Source.

Oregon State University is a comprehensive, public, research university and a member of the Oregon University System. It is the state's land-grant, sea-grant and space-grant institution, and has programs and faculty located in every county of the state. OSU programs in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Forestry, Pharmacy, and a variety of other areas are nationally recognized for high quality.
